Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for the effective control of a company's suppliers, emphasizing quality and customer satisfaction. This role will often partner with various departments like Global Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and R&D to develop a comprehensive supplier quality plan to minimize the risk of non-qualifying or nonconforming supplies and materials. A Supplier Quality Manager also may work with engineering to create design tolerance specifications.
