We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal, communication and management skills to support our software development projects and help us streamline our development workflow.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices
- Showcase Agile values, principles, and practices in day-to-day situations
- Initiate and facilitate planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
- Facilitate discussions and conflict resolution
- Guide and coach teams on how to incorporate effective decision-making tools and techniques
- Track and remove impediments, blockers and dependencies
- Work with product owners to plan sprints and releases

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role
- Strong understanding of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks

- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Ability to manage risks and uncertainties
- Ability to provide objective feedback and promote quality assurance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Training and Education:
This position requires an understanding of the Agile and Scrum frameworks. Thus, experience and knowledge in either one or both is preferred. Previous work experience with software development teams is a plus.

What a typical day looks like for a scrum master

They will also mentor their team members, ensure transparency among the team and stakeholders, ensure that their team sticks to the sprint goals, and will generally remove any roadblocks that their team may be facing.
