Portland Health Care Center is looking for a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our facility’s team. This position is responsible for executing general maintenance, repair and preventative maintenance services throughout the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete general maintenance and repair of equipment, facility systems and structures
  • Replace light fixtures, wiring, plumbing, faucets and fixtures
  • Check and test systems to ensure proper functioning
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure proper and safe operation of all equipment
  • Maintain inventory of materials and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations

Work Hours and Benefits:

The successful candidate will work full-time hours, with flexible shifts available. This position includes a competitive salary and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, 401(K) plan and vacation time.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of maintenance experience
  • Ability to use appropriate tools and materials for repairs

Training and Education:

A valid certificate in building maintenance or related trade is preferred.
