Portland Health Care Center is looking for a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our facility’s team. This position is responsible for executing general maintenance, repair and preventative maintenance services throughout the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete general maintenance and repair of equipment, facility systems and structures
- Replace light fixtures, wiring, plumbing, faucets and fixtures
- Check and test systems to ensure proper functioning
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure proper and safe operation of all equipment
- Maintain inventory of materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations
Work Hours and Benefits:

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of maintenance experience
- Ability to use appropriate tools and materials for repairs
- Knowledge of common maintenance practices, safety standards and regulations

- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
Training and Education:
A valid certificate in building maintenance or related trade is preferred.
