What Does an Office Administrator Do?
A Office Administrator is responsible for the overall organization of a company's office. They are responsible for tasks such as managing staff, filing and organizing documents, scheduling appointments, maintaining office equipment, and ensuring that office supplies are always stocked.

- Greets and assists participants, families, and guardians when they arrive
- Schedules appointment times, sends appointment reminders, and books/reschedules appointments from the front desk
- Verifies patient/guardian/family information and answers phone calls, emails, and handles other inquiries during office hours
- Seeks information and acts on requests for medical records
- Completes data entry in electronic health records and other systems
- Communicates with management and other stakeholders
- Performs other clerical and administrative duties as assigned
Work Hours and Benefits:
Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. We offer comprehensive benefits that include vacation, personal/sick, and 401k.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of customer service and/or administrative experience
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other data entry systems
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records a plus
Training and Education:
Successful candidates must attend a one-week onboarding program for office administrators. This onboarding program is provided by Charleston Health Care Center and must be completed before beginning the job.
